Community Guidelines

Simulon is for putting things into the world that were not there before. These guidelines keep that fun and safe for everyone, including the people who end up in your shots.
They apply to everything you create, upload or share with Simulon, including prompts, photos, assets, Sims, profiles and comments.
1. Respect real people
Get permission before you capture people in private spaces, and before you use a photo of a real, identifiable person to generate or animate content.
No deceptive deepfakes. Do not make content that shows a real person saying or doing something they did not, in a way that could mislead viewers.
No sexual imagery of real people, whether or not it is realistic, and no non-consensual intimate imagery of anyone.
No harassment, bullying or threats, and no content that encourages others to harass someone.
No sharing of private information, such as someone's address, phone number or ID documents.
2. Keep children safe
No sexual content involving minors, ever. This includes drawn, animated and AI-generated content. We remove it, close the account and report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and other authorities.
No content that sexualises, grooms or endangers children.
3. No hateful or violent content
No content that attacks or demeans people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease.
No content that threatens, incites or glorifies violence against real people or groups, or promotes terrorist or violent extremist organisations.
No graphic gore made to shock.
4. Keep it truthful where it matters
Do not use Simulon to create content designed to mislead people about elections, voting, public health, emergencies or other real events.
If you publish realistic AI content of real people, places or events, tell viewers it was made with AI where the law requires it. Do not remove the content credentials or watermarks Simulon adds.
Talking about politics, religion and current events is fine. What is not allowed is deceiving people about them.
5. No adult content
Simulon is for users aged 13 and over, so sexually explicit content and nudity are not allowed, including in generated assets.
6. Respect creators' rights
Only upload and use content you own or have permission to use, including reference and style images.
Do not use Simulon to copy other people's characters, logos or artwork in a way that infringes their rights.

7. Do not break Simulon
No spam, scams, malware or phishing.
No scraping, and no using Simulon content to train AI models.
No fake accounts or tricks to collect free Credits.
No attempts to get around our safety systems, watermarks or limits.
8. Dangerous and illegal activity
No content that promotes or gives instructions for serious harm, including weapons, drugs, self-harm or dangerous challenges.
No content that breaks the law where you are or where you publish it.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please contact a local crisis service or emergency number.
9. How to report something
Use the report option on any shared content in the app, or email hello@simulon.com with a link or description. You do not need an account to report illegal content. You can also block a creator at any time, to stop seeing what they share with you by link.
We review reports as quickly as we can and prioritise anything involving a risk to someone's safety or to children.
10. What we do when a guideline is broken
We look at what happened, how serious it was, and whether it has happened before. Depending on that, we may:
Remove or restrict: We remove the content or limit who can see it
Warning: We tell you which guideline was broken
Temporary restriction: We pause sharing or some features, usually for 1 to 30 days
Suspension: We suspend your account while we review it
Account closure: For serious or repeated violations
Some violations, such as sexual content involving minors, credible threats of violence, or non-consensual intimate imagery, lead to immediate account closure and, where required, a report to the authorities.
Automated systems help us find content that may break these guidelines. Account suspensions and closures are always decided or confirmed by a person.
11. You will know why, and you can appeal
When we act on your content or account, we will tell you what we did, which guideline it relates to, whether automated tools were involved, and how to appeal, unless the law stops us or telling you would put someone at risk.
To appeal, reply to our notice or email hello@simulon.com with "Appeal" in the subject within 6 months. A person will review it, and we aim to reply within 14 days. If we got it wrong, we will reverse the decision and restore your content where we can.
If you reported content and disagree with our decision, you can appeal in the same way.
If you are in the EU, you can also take a dispute about our decision to a certified out of court dispute settlement body, or to court.
